The City of Laurens’ Clean Up Crack Down initiative is a seasonal effort focused on improving the appearance, safety, and overall quality of life throughout our community.

Beginning April 1, the program enters an amnesty period, giving residents, property owners, and businesses the opportunity to address common property maintenance concerns—such as overgrown grass, debris, litter, and general upkeep—without penalty.

Following this grace period, and continuing through June 30, the City will move into enhanced code enforcement, with a focus on long-term compliance and maintaining community standards.

This initiative is designed to:

• Encourage community pride and responsibility

• Improve neighborhood safety and appearance

• Address ongoing property maintenance concerns

• Support a cleaner, more welcoming Laurens

 

The City partners with Keep Laurens County Beautiful, which provides cleanup supplies and support for individuals and groups interested in participating.

In addition, the initiative aligns with the City’s Earth Day Community Cleanup, offering residents another opportunity to get involved and make a visible impact.

We encourage everyone to take advantage of this time to clean, improve, and invest in their property—helping keep Laurens a place we are all proud to call home.
